The Clinical Challenge
Patients with Atrial Fibrillation who experience ischemic stroke remain at high risk of recurrence1–3.
Although long-term OAC, including DOACs and VKAs, is effective, the risk of recurrent stroke nevertheless remains high4–7. This highlights a significant unmet need.

A New Treatment Paradigm
The permanent Vine™ Filter is designed to capture emboli capable of causing anterior large vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke before they reach the anterior cerebral circulation.
Target Patient Population
Patients may be eligible if they have:
Atrial Fibrillation
A history of ischemic stroke within the past year
Planned or existing use of OAC
Simple Deployment Procedure
Seamless Clinical Integration
The Vine™ Filter is implanted by trained physicians and designed to integrate into existing clinical workflows with minimal disruption.
The procedure may be performed:
- At the bedside
- In the cath lab
- In a surgical suite
Implantation typically takes less than 30 minutes.
Who Performs the Procedure?
The Vine™ Filter is implanted by trained physicians, including:
- Interventional neuroradiologists
- Vascular surgeons
- Interventional radiologists
- Cardiac electrophysiologists
- Interventional cardiologists
